Fall leaves come down and remove the shade
Fluttering, floating, down and away
Pumpkins line up the streets
Or worn by children from head to feet
Candy corn and Reese’s
No butterfingers or Hershey’s
The sunset splashes paint across the globe
Now the only light comes from the fire’s glow
Darkness surrounded the children looking for treats
The cool October wind pushing them towards sweets
